Vogue goes erotic.

The May issue of Vogue Paris goes a bit dark paying a tribute to the magnificent mastermind that was Alexander McQueen (yeah, if you thought our obsession was over with the last post you were wrong haha) and also its playing tribute to the fall couture collections with an editorial named "Erotica" a callback from the past Madonna years.

The photographer for this session was a very smart move; the shoot was taken by the amazing Steven Klein, which has been working with madonna since March of 2003, using his work from backdrops for her tour in songs such as "Vogue" and "The beast within" to the albums "Confessions on a Dance Floor" and "Hard Candy".

It also seems that Vogue did the right move by choosing model Lily Donaldson for this, her facial structure is simply stunning and most importantly similar looking to madonna to give it that extra realism.

The fashion showed on this editorial is from the haute couture collections of Dior, Chanel and Valentino, also featured other garnments by Christian Louboutin, Louis Vuitton and Agent Provocateur, is Couture Paradise all together on a single editorial, flattering one of our favourite designers inspired by one of the most influential people in the world. I honestly ask...Does it get better than that?

To finish it up, the light used on the shoot, the make up and the over all styling (Done by Carine Roitfeld) are BRILLIANT, we were literaly in awe after we saw this shoot. But we'll stop with the babble and let you look at this stunning Editorial of Vogue Paris May 2010.

VOGUE SE VUELVE EROTICA



La edición de mayo de la revista Vogue Paris, se va un poco al lado oscuro, haciendole tributo a la magnifica mente mestra que fue Alexander McQueen (si, si pensaban que nuestra obsesión habia terminado con nuestro artículo anterior estaban muy equivocados, haha), la edición tambien le rinde tributo a las coleciones Couture de Otoño con un editorial llamado "Erotica" un llamado a remembranza de años pasados de Madonna

El fotógrafo para esta sesion fue un movimiento muy sabio por parte de la revista; el editorial fue tomado por Steven Klein, quien ha trabajo con Madona desde Marzo del 2003, la cual a usado su trabajo como fondo para su tour en canciones como "Vogue" y "The Beast Within" y en sus albumes "Confessions on a Dance Floor" y "Hard Candy".

Tambien parece que Vogue tomo un buen rumbo al escoger a la modelo Lily Donaldson para esta sesión, su estructura facial es simplemente impresionante y además su parecido con Madonna le da un realismo extra que hace de esta modelo extremadamente relevante para este trabajo.

Los diseños mostrados en este editorial forman parte de las colecciones de Haute Couture de nombres como Dior, Chanel y Valentino, además de también contener atuendos y demás de Christian Louboutin, Louis Vuitton y Agent Provocateur. Simplemente es el paraiso del Couture ya que en un solo editorial se que halaga a uno de nuestros diseñadores favoritos y es inspirado por una de las personas mas influyentes del mundo. Honestamente preguntamos....¿Se puede obtener algo mejor que esto?

Para terminar, la iluminacion usada en la sesion, el maquillaje y el estilismo (Hecho por Carine Roitfeld) son brillantes, literalmente estabamos en sorpresa despues de ver esto. Pero ya no hablaremos mas y los dejaremos observar este increible editorial de Vogue Paris mayo 2010.
