First look to Mcqueen by Sarah Burton

By now it's a fact that Sarah Burton is the successor for the empire of the late Alexander McQueen. She had been McQueen's right hand and assistent from 1996 and she was in charge of the female prét-a-porter collections since 2000, so it was only natural that they picked someone inside the McQueen's reign for someone to take the throne, specialy someone that knew so much about his universe and creative mind.

Now after 4 months of his decease Sarah Burton presents a first look into the S/S 11 collection for Alexander McQueen Male Collection, take a look:

We can immediately see the creme/light palette and very strong shapes she's going to be using for the collection.

From look number one we love the jacket, it is very well tailored and it looks that it fits your body, very different from lots of other jackets we've seen, but that's about it the rolled up vintage inspired pants are not our cup of tea.

Now, We instantly fell in love for look number two, the tight pants, and the coat are beyond amazing, there's nothing bad to add to it, it is very manly and still makes a statement.

UN PRIMER VISTAZO A MCQUEEN POR SARAH BURTON



Para ahora es ya un hecho que Sarah Burton es la sucesora del imperio del fallecido Alexander McQueen. Ella había sido la asistente y mano derecha de McQueen desde 1996 y ella había estado a cargo de la colección femenina de prét-a-porter desde el año 2000, así que era natural que escogieran a alguien dentro del reino McQueen para que tomara el trono, especialmente alguien que sabia tanto de su universo y mente creativa.

Luego de 4 meses de lo sucedido Sarah Burton presenta un primer vistazo a la colección masculina S/S 11 de Alexander McQueen, pueden verla acontinuación:

Inmediatamente podemos ver la paleta de colores claros y cremas y formas bastante fuertes que ella estará usando para esta colección.

Del look numero uno amamos la chaqueta, está muy bien confeccionada y se nota que tallaría muy bien al cuerpo, bastante distinta de muchas otras chaquetas que hemos visto, pero eso es todo los pantalones enrrollados con inspiración vintage no son nuestros favoritos.

Ahora, experimentamos amor a primera vista cuando vimos el look número dos los pantalones justos y el abrigo son mas que increíbles, no hay nada malo que agregar sobre esto. Es bastante masculino y aún así se puede hace run statement con él.

Asi que eso es todo por decir para el primer vistazo a la colección masculina de Alexander McQueen por Sarah Burton, ahora les preguntamos:
