Get a life Vivienne Westwood

"Get a life" is the name of the Vivienne Westwood's Menswear Collection for S/S 11 which was presented on Milán's Fashion Week. When asked about how she would describe the collection, she replied: "There’s lots of broken up stuff, lots and lots o glowing colour and flashing things. Lots of checks and stripes. Cut up graphics and chopped up patterns", and indeed the collection sported everything she described; from funny wigs, crowns, furry things and towers to an actual shopping cart, this collection was all over the place and still managed to present itself in a cohesive way.



Dame Westwood definitely took the streets into the runway; she took your average bumm alley, sprinkled some of her magic and turned it into a fashion show, definitely something only she could pull off.

There are galaxy inspired things, trend of which we've been DYING to catch up to the runway, the suits and pants are definitely not expected, but very well appretiated and last but not least the shoes are amazing. A crazy show by one of the craziest designers nowadays.

CONSIGUETE UNA VIDA VIVIENNE WESTWOOD



"Get a life" ("Consiguete una vida" traducido al español) es el nombre de la colleción masculina para S/S 11 de Vivienne Westood la cual fue presentada en la semana de la moda de Milán. Cuando se le preguntó como describiría su colección, ella contestó: "Hay muchas cosas rotas, muchos y muchos colores y cosas brillantes. Muchos cuadros y rallas. Gráficos y patrones cortados", y justo como ella dijo la colección llevaba muchas de las cosas que ella describió; desde pelucas graciosas, coronas, cosas peludas y torres hasta un carrito de supermercado real, esta colección representó diversidad pero presevando una cohesividad entre todo.



La dama Westwood definitivamente tomo las calles y las introdujo a la pasarela; ella tomó al típico vago del callejón, añadió un poco de su magia y lo convirtió en un show de modas, algo que definitivamente solo ella puede lograr.

Hay cosas inspirados en gráficos galácticos, una tendencia que habiamos esperado que llegara a las pasarelas, los trajes y pantalones no eran esperados pero en defintiva mucho muy apresiados, y por último los zapatos fueron espectaculares, en resumen un show loco por una de las mas locas diseñadoras de nuestros tiempos.
