McQueen is the King


The lookbook of the McQ by Alexander McQueen collection for Fall 2010 has been officialy launched. This collection has a grunge inspired and dark aesthetic vibe to it. The use of patchwork, denim, flannel, knits and stripes gives us a very melancholic picture for this season, we could almost hear Kurt Cobain singing in the back. To be honest, we coulnd't be more excited about this sort of scenes, we've been tripping on the grunge 90's vibe for quite a while now so for NONPLUS this collection is H E A V E N.

The bulky silhouettes, the shirts tied around hips, the long girly dresses with manly details, just takes our breath away. Our heart still aches for the departure of the most beloved and inspirational designer of this era, but like Freddy Mercury said "The show must go on", and I bet he's looking proudly down from designers paradise nodding to this collection♥.
